Atlas Copco is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines, enabling data-driven decisions across global logistics. You will own end-to-end data products, collaborate with product teams, and ensure robust data architecture and governance.

The role emphasizes cloud platforms, BI concepts, and agile principles, with a hybrid work setup between remote work and on-site collaboration at Airpower in Wilrijk, Belgium.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering with SQL, Python and data modelling.
• Knowledge of BI principles, dimensional modelling and data visualization is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms; Azure tools (Databricks) is a plus.
• Interest in modern technologies and industrial data contexts; knowledge of agile methodologies or product ownership principles.

Responsabilités

• Design and build scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Shape end-to-end data products with the product team.
• Advise on data model design and overall architecture for robust solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable data outputs (dashboards, APIs, tools).
