Qover, a leading insurtech scale-up in Brussels, is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to own data reporting from prototyping to production and to scale our dbt pipelines. The role emphasizes strong data modeling, cloud data warehousing (BigQuery) and Python development within an engineering-led, AI-friendly culture.

You will collaborate with an international team, ensure data quality, and help business stakeholders access self-serve analytics while advancing our data architecture for new insurance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL and data modeling.
• Proven expertise in dbt and production Python.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own complex data financial reporting from prototyping to production.
• Build, maintain, and optimize robust dbt data pipelines.
• Architect flexible data models for insurance operations with minimal rework.
• Ensure data quality with automated tests and governance.
