Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines, optimize data flows and enable data-driven decisions. You will work across departments to shape data products, ensure insights are accessible, and deliver end-to-end data solutions for the global logistics organization.

You will join a diverse team and contribute to architecture, data modelling, and implementation of dashboards, APIs, and intelligent tools, with a focus on Airpower in Wilrijk,

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering, with strong skills in SQL, Python, and data modelling.
• Experience with BI principles, dimensional modelling, and data visualization is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and documentation practices, with knowledge of Azure tools (e.g., Databricks) considered a plus.
• Interest in modern technologies and industrial data contexts, along with an understanding of agile methodologies or product ownership principles.

Responsabilités

• Design and build secure, reusable data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Define purpose, roadmap and delivery of end-to-end data products with product team.
• Advise on data model design and overall architecture for robust, scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable data solutions (dashboards, APIs, tools).
