JEMS in Belgium is seeking a creative and technically-driven Data Engineer to join our Belgian team. You will build robust data pipelines and enable data-driven decisions across business units.

You will apply SQL and at least one OO language (Python, Java or Scala), work with distributed computing frameworks, and leverage cloud or big data tools. Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is essential for our Benelux client base.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on large-scale data projects.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one object-oriented language (Python, Java, or Scala).
• Fluency in French, Dutch and English (spoken and written).

Responsabilités

• End-to-End Solution Design: participate in the full architectural journey from data acquisition to exploitation.
• Data Integration: collect and weave together diverse datasets to solve business problems.
• Quality & Governance: ensure data integrity with monitoring tools and governance standards.
• Bridging the Gap: translate business needs into technical data rules.
• Industrialisation: scale deployments with robust testing practices.
