In4Matic is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to drive the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Fabric in production. You will design Medallion Architecture, build scalable data pipelines with Python notebooks, and embed Power BI DevOps practices into the development process.

You will coach the internal team, transfer knowledge through workshops, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to long-term ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Microsoft Fabric in production environments.
• Strong background in Medallion Architecture, data pipelines, and Fabric-based data solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of data and services architecture.
• Experience with data lake environments, data transfer, and data visualization.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python, notebooks, and modern data engineering workflows.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft BI and Power BI.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools in a data context.
• High level of practical Microsoft Fabric experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Fabric, from initial setup through to production-ready delivery.
• Design and implement a Medallion Architecture within Fabric, aligned with industry best practices.
• Build reliable and scalable data pipelines using Python notebooks and Fabric data engineering tools.
• Integrate Power BI DevOps practices into the data development workflow.
• Deliver coaching, workshops, and structured knowledge transfer sessions to strengthen the internal data team.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and help ensure a smooth transition to long-term ownership.

Technical Skills

• Proven experience implementing Microsoft Fabric in production environments.
• Strong background in Medallion Architecture, data pipelines, and Fabric-based data solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of data and services architecture and data architecture.
• Experience with data lake environments, data transfer, and data visualization.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python, notebooks, and modern data engineering workflows.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft BI and Power BI.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools in a data context.
• This role requires a high level of practical experience with Microsoft Fabric.

Practical Information

• Language requirements: Dutch or French, plus English.
