MEERAB GROUP seeks a Senior Data Engineer/Backend Developer to design and maintain data pipelines and core APIs. You will work with Java, Python and Go, implement ELT to feed the data lake/warehouse, and collaborate with the solution architect on scalable architectures.

You bring 5+ years in software or data engineering, AWS experience, IaC know-how, and strong Dutch communication within an Agile team.

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years in software development and/or data engineering.
• You know backend languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
• You have AWS experience (lambda, SQS, EventBridge, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• You understand IaC and DevOps principles.
• You are a team player and Agile/Scrum familiar.
• You know Dutch well.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and backend services.
• Work with Java 21, Python and Go, and explore new greenfield components.
• Set up ELT processes to feed data lake and data warehouse.
• Build and maintain core backend APIs for content platform.
• Collaborate with solution architect on architecture decisions.
• Monitor data quality, performance and scalability in an Agile/Scrum setup.
