Datashift in Gent seeks a Senior Data Architect to design and lead modern data platforms for regulated sectors. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on implementation, guiding clients and engineering teams through secure, scalable architectures.

You will work with Azure, AWS, Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, enforce governance, data protection and compliant access controls, and mentor colleagues to raise the team's architectural maturity.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in data engineering or architecture.
• Proven enterprise-grade data platform design experience.
• Experience with GDPR and regulated sectors.
• Hands-on with Azure, AWS or Databricks.
• Security, data governance and access control expertise.
• Strong communication and leadership.
• Mentors colleagues and leads architecture discussions.
