Verhaert Digital is seeking a Data Architect to collaborate with cross-functional teams to map, analyze, and translate client data needs into technical requirements. You will bridge business stakeholders, data requirements, and the development team to drive successful project delivery.

The role balances solution architecture with hands-on execution, designing end-to-end data architectures while contributing to build and implement scalable data platforms, governance, and security.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline.
• At least 5 years in data engineering or data architecture.
• Hands-on with platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Strong SQL, Python, and PySpark skills; relational/NoSQL and data lakehouse knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Translate client data needs into detailed specifications, ERDs, and reporting frameworks.
• Architect robust data solutions with data lakehouses, data mesh, ETL, and event streaming.
• Hands-on build and scale data platforms with the project delivery team.
• Implement data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Guide clients through transformation journeys as a technical leader.
• Stay ahead of trends and share knowledge with the team.
• Collaborate with go-to-market teams as a trusted client advisor.
