Innova Solutions in Brussels is seeking a Solution/Data Architect to shape strategic digital and data platforms. You will define scalable architectures aligned with enterprise standards and collaborate with product teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders to deliver data-centric transformations.

Key focus includes Data Mesh governance, domain-oriented data products, and PoCs to validate technology choices, while ensuring on-site delivery two days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a Solution / data Architect role.
• Strong experience with data integration architectures across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Deep understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns, API-based integrations, and event-driven systems.
• Strong experience with data modelling, including conceptual, logical, and canonical data models.
• Experience with messaging solutions and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with metadata management, data catalogues, and governance platforms is an asset.
• Experience with Master Data Management, Big Data, Data Lakes, or Data Mesh architectures is a plus.
• Experience with Collibra Data Catalog solution is a plus
• Experience with SAP, S/4Hana and SAP Datasphere as well as other related technologies
• Experience with IT architecture frameworks and standards (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, ATAM)
• Familiarity with architecture modeling tools (e.g., Sparx Enterprise Architect is a plus)
• Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Autonomous and results-driven
• Strong team player, open to feedback and collaboration, with the ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external audience.
• Agile mindset with a continuous improvement approach
• Excellent ability to facilitate discussions, communicate ideas clearly and get architectural decision validated
• Good level of Dutch and/or French and English is required.

You will contribute to the design and evolution of strategic digital and data platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and business objectives. You will work closely with product teams, subject matter experts, solution architects, system architects, and business stakeholders to define scalable, future-proof solutions that support strategic ambitions and data-centric transformation.

The Data Platform vision is based on Data Mesh principles, including domain ownership, data as a product, and federated governance. The platform provides data services to internal customers and enables the creation of domain-oriented data products.

As a Solution/data Architect, you will:
