Virya Energy is seeking a Cyber Security specialist in Eigenbrakel, Belgium. You will be the primary technical advisor to the CISO, leading the implementation of NIS2 compliance and managing security operations. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in Information Security and is fluent in English.

This full-time role offers a flexible workplace with the option for homeworking up to 2–3 days per week, and includes benefits like a green company car, meal vouchers, and health insurance for family members.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Information/Cyber Security.
• Fluent in English; good knowledge of Dutch and/or French is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of technical architecture: Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance stack, cloud security, network security, endpoint protection.

Responsabilités

• Lead the technical implementation of NIS2 requirements.
• Act as point of contact for the external SOC MSSP.
• Apply 'Security by Design' principles to new IT projects.
