Job summary

WLG in Mons, Belgium is seeking a senior cybersecurity engineer who can think like an architect, write actionable requirements, and investigate potential attacks. You will shape security architectures for on-premises and cloud, weigh design trade-offs, and lead small security teams.

Ideal candidates have hands-on security service delivery experience, vulnerability discovery skills, and relevant certifications such as CISSP/CISM/GIAC.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on work delivering cyber security services.
• Strong experience finding vulnerabilities and potential threats.
• Knowledge of cryptography, key management, IAM, and risk management.
• Familiarity with network monitoring, detection, and cloud security design.
• ArchiMate-based architecture modelling skills.
• CISSP, CISM or GIAC certification and experience leading small teams.
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of progressive experience.

Responsibilities

• Shaping solution architectures for cyber security capabilities, on premises and in the cloud.
• Weighing alternative designs on cost, performance and scalability, and recording the decisions.
• Running risk and business impact analysis and designing countermeasures.
• Defining, prioritising and baselining requirements with stakeholders.
• Writing and reviewing security requirements for acquisition projects and helping evaluate bids.
• Supporting incident handling and presenting technical findings in working groups.
