A leading global consulting firm is seeking an Immigration Senior Consultant to support clients with Belgian immigration processes. Responsibilities include advising clients, managing client communications, and supervising junior staff. The ideal candidate will have a legal background, fluency in English and potentially French/Dutch, and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. Attractive remuneration and benefits are offered.

For our People Advisory Compliance Center we are currently looking for an experienced Immigration Senior Consultant.

Your Key Responsibilities

• You will be an intrinsic part of the client team and will be in the forefront of communication with clients, expats, authorities, and other stakeholders;
• You will be co-responsible for your client portfolio and will be expected to take proactive action, together with the client team;
• You will advise our clients on the best available immigration route and the impact thereof on their business;
• Building on your existing experience, you will make the proper assessment, prepare your files together with the client team and follow up on these files with the competent authorities. In doing so, you will guide the client and their expat population through the Belgian immigration process;
• You will be expected to supervise your junior colleagues and offshore team and assist them in their client work;
• You will be part of our knowledge team and co-author local and global communication in regards to legislative changes and other updates. You will also be expected to proactively follow up on relevant legislative changes and you have sufficient expertise on how to interpret the legislation.

Your Profile

You have:

• A legal background and have obtained a degree in law;
• Built up working experience of at least 2 to 3 years in a similar role or field;
• Availability as soon as possible;
• Fluency in English (written and oral communication skills), in French and/or Dutch;
• Good organizational, precise and prioritization skills;
• A client-minded and team player approach;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to be in contact with the authorities and clients;
