Job summary

Marchandise Genk is seeking an experienced Construction Equipment Technician to lead diagnostics, fault finding and repairs on heavy machinery. You will analyse faults, interpret complex hydraulic and electrical diagrams and determine the right solutions to get machines back in service.

You will perform repairs in our workshop or on site, service and maintain equipment from leading manufacturers, and collaborate with the workshop, parts department and technical team while continually developing

Qualifications

• Experience as a technician on construction equipment, earthmoving machinery or similar.
• Strong expertise in hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose complex faults and troubleshoot effectively.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical diagrams.
• Independent, thorough and reliable with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair construction equipment.
• Perform repairs in workshop and on site.
• Identify root causes of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
• Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical diagrams.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance to restore full working order.
• Conduct tests, inspections and adjustments after interventions.
• Work with leading manufacturers' machines.
• Collaborate with workshop, parts and technical teams.
• Continually develop expertise through training.
