Job summary

Prophix is seeking a Senior Consolidation Consultant to lead multi-entity consolidation implementations across EMEA and the UK. You will shape future-state design, own FC solution architecture, and guide clients from workshops to go-live with delivery governance.

Mentoring and reusable assets help raise team standards. You will work with clients and internal teams on intercompany processing, eliminations, and IFRS/local GAAP compliance while driving efficient, auditable closing and reporting

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in financial consolidation, close, or CPM/consolidation software.
• Leadership of full-cycle consolidation implementations (≥3 years).
• Experience producing consolidated statements for multi-entity groups.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP in a system design context.
• Strong ability to run client workshops and communicate with finance leaders.
• Experience integrating data from ERP/GL systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365).
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage multiple implementations.

As a Senior Consolidation Consultant, you will lead implementations of Prophix Financial Consolidations (FC) for multi-entity organizations across EMEA and the UK. You bring a deep understanding of consolidation, close, and group reporting, and you turn that knowledge into well-designed, well-documented solutions that client finance teams can run with confidence. Our projects start with an understanding of the client’s current close and consolidation challenges. You will shape the future-state design, own the FC solution architecture, and guide the client from first workshop through go-live and handover. You will also help raise the standard of delivery across the team through reviews, mentoring, and reusable assets.

What You Will Do

• Requirements Gathering and Future-State Design: Work with clients and internal stakeholders to assess current consolidation, close, and financial reporting processes, and design optimized future-state workflows for multi-entity organizations
• Solution Architecture and Configuration: Own the design and configuration of the Prophix FC solution for complex requirements, including intercompany processing, eliminations, foreign currency translation, ownership structures (including non-controlling interests), and consolidated cash flow
• Close and Consolidation Process Design: Design month-end and quarter-end processes covering data integration, account mapping, reconciliation support, journal workflows, top-side entries, and consolidated reporting, with a focus on control, efficiency, and audit readiness
• Accounting Standards: Configure the solution so clients can consolidate across entities and jurisdictions in line with applicable standards, including IFRS and local GAAP (for example UK GAAP and Belgian GAAP)
• Delivery Governance and Communication: Lead delivery of your engagements from kickoff through go-live and hyper care, including planning, risk and dependency management, scope and change control, and testing. Manage several engagements concurrently and stay accountable for delivery quality and timeline against the agreed scope and effort. Communicate progress, key decisions, and roadblocks to clients and internal leadership clearly and concisely
• Escalation Point: Act as the first escalation point for technical, scope, and stakeholder issues on your engagements, escalating to Professional Services leadership where needed
• Pre-Sales Support: Support scoping and effort estimation for new and expanding engagements, and review proposed scope for delivery feasibility
• AI-Assisted Delivery: Use approved AI tools to speed up documentation, mapping analysis, testing, and client enablement materials, in line with Prophix AI governance and client data requirements
• Client Enablement: Coach client finance teams on both the software and the underlying consolidation processes, so they can manage ongoing close and reporting activities independently
• Technical and Team Leadership: Review and quality-assure the work of other consultants, mentor colleagues, and help improve our methodology by contributing reusable templates, accelerators, and best practices across EMEA. Work alongside implementation partners where projects are co-delivered

Requirements

What You Will Bring

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in financial consolidation, financial close, group reporting, or CPM/consolidation software implementation, including at least 3 years leading full-cycle consolidation implementations (on any platform)
• Hands‑on experience producing consolidated financial statements for multi‑entity, multi‑currency groups
• Strong working knowledge of investment and equity eliminations, intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidated cash flow
• Working knowledge of IFRS and at least one relevant local GAAP; ability to apply them in a system design context
• Proven ability to run client workshops, translate accounting requirements into system design, and communicate with finance leaders including CFOs and Controllers
• Experience integrating data from ERP and GL systems (for example SAP, Unit4, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365) and designing account and entity mappings
• Advanced Excel skills and experience planning and managing multiple concurrent implementations
• Comfort using AI-assisted tools in day‑to‑day delivery, with sound judgment on client data confidentiality
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based. Willingness to travel to client sites and Prophix offices as projects require

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (for example ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or a local equivalent)
• Experience implementing Prophix FC or another consolidation platform, such as OneStream, Tagetik, Oracle Hyperion or FCCS, SAP BPC or Group Reporting, or LucaNet
• Experience with multi‑GAAP reporting
• Working knowledge of SQL or other data transformation tools
• French and/or Dutch an asset
• Experience mentoring or leading consultants
• Comfortable using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, and data review
• Able to learn new tools and adapt as technology and workflows evolve
• Curious, open to new approaches, and motivated to continuously improve
• Collaborative mindset when working across teams
