Pauwels Consulting seeks an expert to lead civil engineering and finishing works across multiple infrastructure projects in Belgium. You will oversee design through execution, ensuring quality and compliance from foundations to finishing elements.

The role requires autonomous, proactive professionals with 8+ years in civil/infrastructure construction, fluent French and good English, and a track record in site supervision and contractor management within regulated industries.

Qualifications

• Master in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a Construction focus.
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, infrastructure or industrial construction.
• Senior expertise in civil works, structural works, foundations, and finishing works.
• Proven experience in site supervision and contractor management.
• Experience in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, petrochemical or nuclear industries.
• Autonomous and proactive mindset with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in French with a good level of English.

Responsabilités

• Act as technical SME for infrastructure, civil engineering and finishing works across projects.
• Review infrastructure studies, engineering deliverables and technical notes for standards compliance.
• Draft technical specifications and documentation for work packages, tenders and BOMs.
• Oversee site construction, focusing on foundations, concrete, steel and structural works.
• Monitor contractor performance, schedules and risks, ensuring project requirements.
