Job summary

Thales Belgium is seeking a Senior Solution Architect Counter UAS in Tubize, offering hybrid work in a full-time role. You will steer architecture policy, validate designs, and collaborate across engineering offices to meet stakeholder expectations while balancing technical and cost constraints.

The candidate should have a Master’s in Engineering or CS and strong experience in systems architecture, with knowledge of military systems, NATO interoperability, and simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering or Computer Science; substantial architecture and systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of the military domain and operational analysis.
• Familiar with architecture frameworks and interoperability standards.
• Experience with co-engineering approaches and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define and steer the architecture vision across stakeholders and trade-offs between technical solutions, costs, risks and schedule.
• Identify boundary context and document artefacts; validate design decisions.
• Lead the solution development cycle and governance of critical requirements and KPIs.
• Collaborate with specialists in Lean Thinking and Obeya to implement co-engineering practices.
