Senior Business Controller
- Conduct in-depth analyses of P&L, ROCE, and risk management for specific market segments, identifying trends and growth potential;
- Translate financial data into clear reports and presentations, providing strategic insights and recommendations;
- Optimize working capital and monitor key risks related to accumulated positions and essential raw materials;
- Manage the planning process, including periodic forecasts, annual budgeting, and strategic planning up to EBIT level;
- Contribute to key investment projects, including CAPEX and M&A, by providing financial expertise;
- Collaborate with the Reporting Factory to enhance reporting and analysis tools, ensuring consistency and accuracy;
- Act as a strong business partner by supporting market segments and facilitating strategic decisions with financial insights.
Profiel
Must-haves:
- You hold a master’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field;
- Acquire at least 8 years of experience in finance, preferably as a controller or business partner;
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to translate financial data into strategic insights;
- Communicate fluently in Dutch, both written and spoken;
- Possess excellent communication skills to present complex financial concepts clearly;
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Nice-to-haves:
- Have experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Speak English or French in addition to Dutch.
- Show a proactive mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Bring experience in investment analysis, CAPEX, or M&A.
- Demonstrate the ability to optimize working capital and risk management.
