Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Belgium is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business and technology in complex, regulated environments. You will lead discovery, define requirements, and build roadmaps while coordinating with Product Owners, Architects, Project Managers, and development teams for delivery.

Fluent in French and English, you will mentor analysts, shape solutions for defence and regulated sectors, and contribute to governance, KPI development, and presales, leveraging Power BI,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a business, engineering, computer science, information systems, economics, data analytics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in complex environments.
• Experience delivering digital transformation or technology projects with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Strong requirements engineering, process modelling, and data governance capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French fluency is mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, analysis, and definition of business and operational requirements for complex initiatives.
• Translate business objectives into roadmaps, requirements, and delivery priorities.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and facilitate workshops and steering committees.
• Define and maintain business, functional, and non-functional requirements; create use cases and process models.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, PMs, Developers, and Testers for successful delivery.
• Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks; develop KPIs and reporting structures.
• Mentor junior/medior Analysts and contribute to governance and capability development.
• Participate in presales efforts, shaping solutions for defence and regulated environments.
