Green Recruitment is seeking a senior engineer to lead the development, engineering, and construction of large-scale battery energy storage projects in the Brussels region. You will manage technical specifications, tendering, and coordination with EPCs, suppliers, and external partners to deliver on time and on budget.

You will oversee BESS design, HV/MV connections, civil works, and site infrastructure, while ensuring safety, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent by experience.
• 5+ years in engineering/construction of large energy or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with battery storage or renewables is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BESS, HV/MV substations, and grid connection.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and contractors.

Responsabilités

• Lead development, engineering, and construction of large battery storage projects.
• Define technical specs and manage tendering with suppliers and contractors.
• Coordinate EPC, engineers, and external partners across all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian regulations and project budgets.
• Monitor technical performance, risks, and reporting; support asset performance.
• Grow into a Team Leader role, mentoring project/engineering managers.
