Job summary

D-ploy GmbH is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a Microsoft 365 data classification and information protection initiative in an international, highly regulated environment.

You will translate data protection policies into practical business processes, technical requirements and user-friendly solutions, ensuring that security measures are effectively implemented and adopted across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Business Analyst in compliance, information governance or data protection.
• Experience with at least one Microsoft 365 information protection or secure collaboration project.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) from business perspective.
• Ability to translate governance policies into practical business processes and controls.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and facilitating workshops.
• Experience developing test scenarios and coordinating UAT.
• Fluency in English; good communication and stakeholder management.
• Valid criminal record extract not older than three months.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements related to data classification and protection.
• Translate policies into requirements for labels, encryption, sharing permissions, and DLP controls.
• Define processes for classifying and labeling files, documents and SharePoint sites.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify sensitive information and compliance gaps.
• Identify scenarios involving external collaboration and mobile devices.
• Develop test scenarios and coordinate UAT for implementation decisions.
• Define KPIs and reporting sources to measure adoption and compliance.
• Work with cybersecurity and governance teams to align business and technical solutions.
• Support training materials and stakeholder communications.
