Pauwels Consulting is seeking a senior expert to join our industrial solutions team in Belgium to drive a new SCADA platform for grid stability and live control of industrial assets across an international perimeter.

You will have a Master’s degree in IT or related field and 5+ years in industrial automation with 3+ years on AVEVA System Platform, OMI, and ArchestrA. Proficiency in ASP scripting and strong English are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation and SCADA systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AVEVA System Platform, OMI, and ArchestrA Object Modelling.
• Experience with ASP scripting and troubleshooting in industrial environments.
• Experience with OPC, Modbus TCP, IEC-104 protocols.
• Autonomous, proactive, and able to work under pressure in critical environments.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Develop, test, and maintain complex AVEVA System Platform-based applications.
• Implement ArchestrA object templates and develop OMI visualization content.
• Create and maintain ASP scripts and configure industrial data acquisition structures.
• Integrate communication layers including OPC, Modbus TCP, IEC-104.
• Execute functional testing and support FAT and SAT during commissioning phases.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and developers within an Agile/SAFe framework to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting and log analysis to resolve production incidents in 24/7 environments.

• You're autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure in business-critical environments.
• You are fluent in English.

• Knowledge of High Availability environments and industrial cybersecurity.
