The role involves preparing, testing and operating AV systems, working with clients and venues, and ensuring safe, reliable delivery of technology with strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Preparing and testing AV equipment prior to events and projects
• Setting up, operating and de-rigging professional AV systems
• Operating audio, video, projection, presentation and associated technologies
• Providing on-site technical support and resolving issues efficiently
• Working directly with clients, venues and other technical teams
• Taking responsibility for technical delivery and maintaining high professional standards
• Supporting and mentoring junior technicians where required
• Carrying out equipment checks, fault-finding and basic maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant procedures

We are seeking an experienced Senior AV Technician to join a professional and technically focused team. This is a key technical role for an individual with strong industry experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to take responsibility for the successful delivery of AV services across a range of professional environments.

The Role

The Senior AV Technician will be responsible for the preparation, setup, operation and breakdown of professional audiovisual systems, ensuring all technical requirements are delivered to a consistently high standard.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and testing AV equipment prior to events and projects
• Setting up, operating and de-rigging professional AV systems
• Operating audio, video, projection, presentation and associated technologies
• Providing on-site technical support and resolving issues efficiently
• Working directly with clients, venues and other technical teams
• Taking responsibility for technical delivery and maintaining high professional standards
• Supporting and mentoring junior technicians where required
• Carrying out equipment checks, fault-finding and basic maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant procedures

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have significant experience within the professional AV industry and will be confident working independently or as part of a technical team.

You will have:

• Proven experience as an AV Technician within a professional environment
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of AV disciplines
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on live events, corporate productions, conferences or similar environments
• The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• The ability to lead or support technical teams when required
• A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends where necessary
• A full UK driving Licence is desirable
