ING Belgium in Brussels seeks an Associate/VP for the Specialised Lending Transaction Management team. You will help originate and execute lending transactions, participate in client and bank discussions, and draft credit proposals while reviewing due diligence materials.

The role emphasizes deep credit/financial analysis, modelling, and strong presentation skills. Fluency in English is required; French or Dutch is a plus. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across ING globally.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant business discipline.
• 2 years (Associate) or 4 years (Vice President) of relevant working experience in European energy or infrastructure market and/or project financing.
• Strong financial and credit analysis/modelling capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills, rigor, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on multiple transactions concurrently.
• Knowledge of loan documentation and related processes.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Inclusive team player with cross-cultural awareness; fluent in English; French/Dutch an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Assist with origination and execution of new lending transactions.
• Participate in client and bank calls/meetings.
• Draft new business credit proposals and review due diligence materials.
• Run sensitivity analyses on financial models and develop models as needed.
• Review term sheets and legal documentation.
• Perform lending administration and data management in core systems.
• Contribute to internal reporting and business development.
• Share insights and best practices across the lending platform.
