Unknown is seeking a Technical Analyst in Brussels with 5 years of AML experience to support a major monitoring project. The role combines on-site and homeworking in a 50/50 hybrid model.

You will manage the current AML tool, develop detection scenarios, and collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile environment. Start date is immediate.

Qualifications

• At least five years of AML experience.
• Several years of AML domain experience.
• Mandatory NetReveal (Scenario Manager) experience.
• Mandatory SAP BusinessObjects experience.
• Mandatory SAS Enterprise Guide and SQL experience.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the Business Analyst to translate AML risk analyses into detection scenarios.
• Write SAS scripts to test and refine scenario logic using historical data.
• Review simulation results with the AML Framework team to validate effectiveness.
• Test configurations and scripts in the test environment and deploy them to production.
• Contribute to audit-trail documentation for full development traceability.
• Assist in preparing presentations for the AML/CTF TM Framework Committee.
• Support the Business Analyst with change processes for L1 and L2 teams.
• Participate in aftercare activities by analysing alert volumes and relevancy rates.
• Contribute across disciplines within a cross-functional Agile team when required to achieve sprint goals.

We are looking for a Technical Analyst (5 years of experience) to support a major AML monitoring project in Brussels. You will manage the current AML monitoring tool and develop additional detection scenarios. The position follows a hybrid model with 50% on-site work and 50% homeworking. The start date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Business Analyst to translate AML risk analyses into effective and relevant detection scenarios.
• Write SAS scripts to test and refine scenario logic through historical data simulations.
• Review simulation results with the AML Framework team to validate scenario effectiveness.
• Test configurations and scripts in the test environment and deploy them to production.
