Asenium Consulting in Brussels is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to support a major AML monitoring project in financial services. You will manage and enhance detection scenarios to address evolving money-laundering risks, working in a hybrid setup with 50% on-site in Brussels and 50% remote.

The role requires strong NetReveal experience (Scenario Manager), SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL, and SAP BusinessObjects, plus excellent English and French or Dutch.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst.
• Several years of professional experience in the AML domain.
• Strong experience with NetReveal, particularly Scenario Manager.
• Hands-on experience with SAS Enterprise Guide and SQL.
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects.
• Sound written and spoken English. Professional written and spoken proficiency in French or Dutch.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional Agile team.

Responsabilités

• Translate AML risk analyses into effective detection scenarios in collaboration with Business Analysts.
• Write SAS scripts and use historical data simulations to test and refine scenario logic.
• Review simulation results with AML stakeholders and validate scenario effectiveness.
• Test configurations and scripts in test environments and deploy them to production.
• Maintain audit trail documentation and ensure full development traceability.
• Support change management activities for L1 and L2 operational teams.
• Perform aftercare analysis, including alert volume and relevance monitoring.
