Asenium Consulting in Brussels is seeking a Business Analyst with around 5 years of AML experience to support a major monitoring project. The role focuses on managing an AML monitoring tool and developing detection scenarios in line with the Risk Typology Catalogue.

The position follows a hybrid model (50% on-site, 50% remote). Start date is as soon as possible and you will collaborate with the AML Framework team and other stakeholders to ensure effective surveillance.

Qualifications

• Experience in the AML domain is required.
• Hands-on knowledge of NetReveal, especially Scenario Manager.
• Proficient in English; Dutch or French proficiency required.

Responsabilités

• Review risk analyses by the AML Framework team.
• Translate risk analyses into AML detection scenarios.
• Collaborate with tech team to define scenario logic.
• Run simulations using historical data.
• Discuss simulation results with AML Framework team.
• Prepare audit trail documentation for each step.
• Conduct aftercare three months post-implementation.
• Prepare and present slides to the AML/CTF TM Framework Committee.
• Manage the change process for L1 and L2 teams.
• Monitor go-live, alert volumes, and relevance rates.

We are looking for a Business Analyst (5 years of experience) to support a major AML monitoring project in Brussels. The role focuses on managing an existing AML monitoring tool and developing detection scenarios in line with the applicable Risk Typology Catalogue. The position follows a hybrid model, with 50% on-site work and 50% homeworking. The start date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Review the risk analyses conducted by the AML Framework team.
• Translate risk analyses into effective and relevant AML detection scenarios.
• Collaborate with a technical team member to define scenario logic.
• Perform simulations using historical data.
• Discuss simulation results with the AML Framework team.
• Prepare audit trail documentation covering every step of the process.
• Conduct aftercare three months after implementation.
• Prepare and present slides to the AML/CTF TM Framework Committee.
• Manage the change process for the L1 and L2 teams.
• Follow up on go-live and monitor scenario alert volumes and relevance rates.

Must-Have Requirements

• Experience in the AML domain are required.
• Practical knowledge of NetReveal, particularly Scenario Manager, is mandatory.
