Gaming1 is seeking an AI & Data Science Specialist to join the Experience Lab in Liège, Belgium. The role blends AI engineering, governance and production readiness, delivering reliable AI systems within a fast-moving product company.

You will own AI application engineering, evaluation and governance controls, partnering with the Platform team to ensure secure, observable, scalable systems that support business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software, ML or data engineering.
• Strong Python skills and production AI app experience.
• Experience with containerized and cloud-native delivery.
• Degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop AI-powered systems—from hypothesis through to production use.
• Establish evaluation, testing practices for quality, safety and regressions.
• Deploy, operate and monitor AI systems with observability and cost awareness.
• Define safeguards: access controls, auditability, human oversight, fallbacks.
• Build secure, reusable pipelines and knowledge systems for labs use.
• Partner with data scientists and platform team for production-ready services.
