ML6 - Accelerate Intelligence in Gent, Belgium is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI solutions in production. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience, specifically within the GenAI space, and possesses strong communication skills in English.

• Design and build end‑to‑end AI solutions
• Take systems from idea to production deployment
• Make architecture decisions and ensure scalability
• Lead teams of engineers
• Translate business challenges into technical solutions
• Work with Python, ML frameworks, GenAI, and cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Build scalable systems using MLOps and CI/CD
• Lend your technical expertise to client conversations to start new opportunities

Time allocation: 70% client project work + 30% research, internal (domain) work and more. Note that ML6 is not an outsourcing firm, our agents work on projects together with a team of colleagues where autonomy is highly valued.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 4+ years* of working experience as a software, ML or AI engineer
• Proven track record in delivering end‑to‑end solutions (to production)
• Experience within the GenAI space (currently hiring for this domain)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience leading projects or small technical teams
• Strong communication skills (technical and non‑technical) in English
• Familiarity with MLOps principles and a passion for building robust, scalable systems
