Vivid Resourcing is recruiting a Senior Generative AI Engineer to lead GenAI delivery for major enterprise clients in Belgium. You will transform opportunities into production-ready solutions, from PoCs to scalable AI products, working closely with architects and consultants.

You'll apply Python, LLM APIs and Azure-based platforms, build AI agents, and navigate RAG, embeddings and enterprise integrations. A clear path to Senior/Lead roles awaits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in software, data, ML or AI engineering.
• Strong Python proficiency.
• Practical experience with LLMs / Generative AI.
• Understanding of RAG and AI agents.
• Cloud experience, ideally Azure.
• Fluent English; Dutch or French is a plus.

Senior Generative AI Engineer

You’ll work with major enterprise clients to turn GenAI opportunities into real, production-ready solutions, from early prototypes and PoCs through to scalable AI products.

Day to Day

• Building GenAI applications with Python and LLM APIs
• RAG, embeddings and vector databases

Who you are

• 5+ years' experience in software, data, ML or AI engineering
• Strong Python

• Strong engineering fundamentals
• Comfortable working directly with clients
• Fluent English; Dutch or French is a plus

You don't need 5+ years of experience in AI, that's simply not realistic given how quickly the market has evolved.

My clients are particularly interested in strong Data Engineers, Data Scientists or Software Engineers who have started moving into AI/Generative AI and want to make that their next career step.
