Koda Tech is seeking an AI Engineer to lead the design and development of production-grade AI solutions for enterprise clients. You will translate business needs into scalable architectures, build proofs-of-concept, and deploy GenAI applications while mentoring the team.

Ideal candidates combine strong software engineering with hands-on AI experience, including LLMs, LangChain, and cloud deployment. A client-facing, adaptable, and proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years delivering AI/ML solutions into production.
• Strong Python development and software fundamentals.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI.
• Hands-on with LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks.
• Experience deploying scalable AI applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow or Terraform.
• Comfortable in client-facing settings and stakeholder engagement.
• Dutch and/or French language skills.

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an AI Engineer to join their expanding team and lead the development of innovative AI solutions for enterprise customers.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong software engineering expertise with hands-on AI and Machine Learning experience. You'll be involved in designing solution architectures, building production-grade AI systems, and working directly with clients to deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable AI solution architectures.
• Design and develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate ideas quickly.
• Build, deploy, and maintain production-grade AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Lead the delivery of complex AI projects from concept through to deployment.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes.
• Identify relevant data sources and define technical approaches.
• Present solutions and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design secure, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and business stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, and technical best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across the engineering function.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience delivering AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Strong Python development skills and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
• Proven track record of deploying scalable AI applications.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and AI services (Azure preferred).
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and software development best practices.
• Knowledge of MLOps tooling such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Terraform, or similar.
• Comfortable working in client-facing environments and engaging with stakeholders.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Previous consultancy or professional services experience.
• Experience delivering GenAI-focused applications.
• Dutch and/or French language skills.
