INEOS Inovyn is Belgium’s senior general accounting role, based in Jemeppe-sur-Sambre or Diegem. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, manage BE GAAP and IFRS compliance, and oversee VAT and statutory reporting with internal and external partners.

The position offers ownership of end-to-end accounting activities, collaboration across an international finance team, and the opportunity to improve processes and data quality while maintaining strict deadlines.

Formación

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in general accounting, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of BE GAAP and practical IFRS experience.
• Hands-on VAT accounting and compliance.
• Experience with supplier invoices and accounts payable processes.
• Knowledge of statutory and statistical reporting including NBB reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain general ledger accounts in BE GAAP and IFRS.
• Handle supplier invoices and ensure correct recording and timeliness.
• Manage VAT calculations and support VAT returns.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Contribute to financial reporting and statutory/statistical reporting to NBB.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors and external partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and data quality.
