DEME seeks skilled seafarers for on-board roles on hopper and cutter dredgers. You will handle watchkeeping, navigation, dredging operations, and vessel safety, working under the First Mate and with project managers and surveyors.

You should have experience on hopper or cutter dredgers, a nautical degree or equivalent maritime education, and a valid COC. Fluency in English and willingness to travel globally are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in nautical sciences or an MBO-4/HBO maritime education.
• COC (Certificate of Competency) in accordance with STCW 1995.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• On board a TSHD, CSD or split barge under supervision.
• Watchkeeping, navigation, dredging process, and equipment maintenance.
• Contribute to operational performance and production optimization.
• Maintain on-board safety and update navigation charts and books.
• Communicate with project managers, site superintendents, surveyors and authorities.
