DEME, a world leader in dredging and marine engineering, is seeking experienced 1st Mates to join its global fleet. You will serve on TSHD or CSD vessels under the Master's supervision, deciding how to perform dredging work and directing operations during your watch.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in nautical sciences or equivalent, have several years in dredging as 1st Mate or Master, hold COC II/2, and speak fluent English.
Our Hopper dredgers (TSHD) and Cutter dredgers (CSD) work around the world on the most challenging dredging projects. Being a sailor with DEME is not sailing from A to B. We need 1st Mates with experience in Dredging to keep our fleet active 24/7 around the world.
