onetowin data services is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a strategic transfer with offshore partners in India. The goal is to balance run and change activities and enable local teams to continue delivering the target IT vision through effective run and lifecycle management.

You will set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach the project team, help the Product Owner with the backlog, protect the team from distractions, track capacity and velocity, and report progress to senior

• Experience coordinating with offshore partners (e.g., India).

Responsabilités

• Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective).
• Schedule and follow key steps of the agile methodology.
• Guarantee smooth use of Scrum and help the team overcome obstacles.

Mission context

The tribe Artificial Intelligence is looking for a Senior scrum master preferably with experience working with off-shore partners in India to help with the transfer of activities. The needs of the tribe are growing but we have identified activities where a partnership with an out-sourcing partner will allow us to allocate the necessary resources for the run and lifecycle management of existing assets. The goal is to make the squad grow and ensure a proper balance between run and change activities with a transfer of existing run and lifecycle management activities so that the local teams can continue to work on implementing the target vision.

Function description

Project follow-up

• set up and facilitate the Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings
• schedule and follow the key steps of the methodology
• guarantee a smooth use of the Scrum methodology and help the Project Team face any obstacles
• provide assistance or support to the Product Owner concerning the Product Backlog
• assist and support the team in the delivery of the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.
• track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes

Project methodology and Coaching

• coach and challenge the Project Team
• help the Project Team face any difficulties and promote its gradual self-organization
• remove barriers to team effectiveness and protect the team from outside distractions
• ambassador of agile methods within the company
• provide to his/her superiors a reporting on the proper deployment of the Scrum methodology within projects
• risk & issue management

Language requirements

English: Sound knowledge of English and ability to communicate with both local and off-shore teams.

Telework

Expectation: 50% on site & 50% homeworking

Agile requirements

Agile teams are cross-functional. All required disciplines are represented in the team (analysis, development, testing,…). However, although team members have a primary role representing a discipline, they are expected to take on other roles and contribute to other disciplines whenever it helps towards reaching the sprint goal.

Required Experience/knowledge

• Technical experience (mandatory)
• Knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g. Jira)
• Understanding of tooling on automated unit testing, automated functional testing and continuous integration tooling
• Sound knowledge of software development methodology
• Sound knowledge of project management methodology
• Business experience (mandatory)
• Expert knowledge of agile methodology and techniques (e.g. Kanban)
