PVH in Beerse, Belgium is seeking a qualified formulation scientist to develop and validate physical test methods and perform complex laboratory procedures. You will report findings in electronic notebooks and present results to the lab manager.

The role requires a master’s degree in a relevant field, fluent English, and experience with digital lab equipment, GLP/GMP practices, and pharmaceutical formulation processes. Be part of a fast‑growing international team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, physics, engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent communication skills in English.
• Proven experience as a lab analyst or in a relevant position.
• Experience operating digital laboratory equipment.
• Experience working with potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, PBOEL 1–4).
• Familiarity with Safety‑Health‑Environmental principles and with GLP/GMP lab practices.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems.
• Experience with digital lab notebooks.
• Ability to work autonomously on parallel projects with multiple people.
• Experience with pharmaceutical formulation processes and development of physical test methods.
• Physical characterization techniques: DSC, TGA, DVS, XRD, powder flow.
• Formulation processes experience: direct compression, granulation, and coating.

• Ensure all safety guidelines are followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.

Position

We are looking for a qualified formulation scientist to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature. You will be responsible for the development of test methods, execution of physical tests of complex nature, and formulation work requiring instant observations and physicochemical interpretation. You will also report protocols, metadata, and experimental findings in electronic notebooks, and present the findings to the lab manager. In addition, you will review data and reports from internal Eurofins PSS associates working in the same domain.

Working Conditions & Benefits

• Full‑time (40 hours/week) Monday‑Friday.
