Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions in Beerse seeks a Lab Analyst in pharmaceutical sciences to perform analytical testing using solid-state characterization methods, including XRD, IR, TGA, MDSC and SEM. You will prepare samples, run established protocols and report findings to cross-functional teams.

The role is full-time with a permanent contract, standard 40-hour week, and starts between 7am and 9:30am. Benefits include Eco-Cheques, ADV days, a well-being program and Payflip for payroll

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in chemistry or related discipline.
• First lab experience with the listed techniques is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Perform analytical testing and run existing methods focused on Solid-State Characterization.
• Characterize samples using XRD, IR, TGA, MDSC and SEM as defined by protocols.
• Set up and manage physical stability open dish stress studies.
• Identify technical/scientific challenges and prioritize resources accordingly.
• Review, interpret and report analytical data.

Description du poste

As a Lab Analyst working in pharmaceutical sciences, you will be responsible to perform analytical

testing work, running existing methods and protocols focused on Solid-State Characterization Methods to cover the following activities:

• Solid state characterization in support of physical stability studies, API comparability, excipient compatibility, milling trials, spray-drying trials, batch overviews and design of experiments(drug substance & drug product).
• Characterization of samples according to clearly defined methods or protocols using:
• X-Ray Diffraction (XRD)
• Infrared Spectroscopy (IR)
• Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)
• Modulated DSC (MDSC)
• Characterization of spray-dried products using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
• Setting up and managing physical stability open dish stress studies.
• Inform about potential technical/scientific challenges and risks, prioritization or resources conflicts.
• Reviewing, interpreting and reporting of the obtained analytical data.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in chemistry or any other related discipline.
• A first lab experience with the techniques mentioned is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• The ability to ensure high scientific quality standards for experiments and take on responsibility for these experiments.
• A proactive approach, adaptive and a sense of urgency attitude.
• Fast-learning and accurate.
