Google Cloud Platform team seeks a Technical Solutions Engineer I to help diagnose blockers, design scalable tools, and collaborate with Engineering to resolve root causes across a global data-center stack.

You will own end-to-end technical projects, driving efficiency and continuous improvement while supporting enterprise customers with cloud infrastructure and data solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with two or more of the following: Web Technology, Data or Big Data, Systems Administration, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, and SAP.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational, process).
• Experience owning a full life-cycle of technical projects including design, development, maintenance, and implementing improvements.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and troubleshoot data center blockers and stakeholder concerns to achieve swift resolution.
• Design, improve, and iterate on internal tools, software, and automated frameworks to streamline the issue management life-cycle.
• Create standardized technical playbooks and processes that enable the Google Server Operations team to manage and resolve issues autonomously.
• Partner with Engineering and Server Operations stakeholders to investigate, identify, and fix the fundamental root causes of negative business outcomes.
• Manage project schedules and timelines while fostering engagement with various cross-functional partners and providing essential business support by participating in weekend on-call duties or assigned work shift rotations.
