Zymofix in Belgium seeks a Project Engineer to lead and coordinate the development of our new industrial-scale demo plant and related production runs. You will partner with internal teams and external engineers to ensure on-time delivery within budget and scope.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple contractors and timelines in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in process engineering and project management.
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on approach to technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing contractors and third parties.

Responsabilités

• Oversee project execution from conception to completion, including the demo plant.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to keep projects on track.
• Co-prepare and guide construction of the demo industrial facility for micro-organism production.
• Organize production runs with the external partner in Spain.
• Support relocation and scale-up planning for the new site.
