Zymofix is seeking a Scale-up Engineer to reinforce our engineering team. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pilot plant installations, including production of fermentation substrates using our novel pretreatment system.

You will help plan tests for process development, carry out production runs for development and client projects, and expand the pilot plant by designing and building new units. The role emphasizes safety, ownership, and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Practical hands-on approach to work.
• Experience in process engineering and project management.
• Safety-conscious with hazardous environments.
• Experience with lab analysis and microorganisms is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pilot plant installations (fermentation substrates).
• Plan and execute tests for process development and client projects.
• Design and build new pilot plant units; draft SOPs and manuals.
• Lead safety actions and hazard evaluations in pilot plant operations.
• Support scale-up activities and participate in construction of new industrial plant.
