AGAD Technology is seeking a SAS DI Developer to join a Data Management & Analytics team in the Energy sector in Belgium. You will design technical solutions, build ETL workflows with SAS Data Integration Studio, and move data from operations to the Data Warehouse while collaborating with BI analysts.

The role requires 3+ years in BI/Data Engineering, strong DWH knowledge, and fluent French or Dutch (passive other language).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as BI Developer or Data Engineer.
• Solid experience in the Business Intelligence / Analytics domain.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SAS Data Integration Studio.
• Strong understanding of data modelling.
• Experience delivering BI/Data Engineering projects in at least two different business sectors.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly in a structured manner.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with passive knowledge of the other language.

We're looking for a SAS DI Developer to join a Data Management & Analytics team responsible for developing and maintaining a modern data platform that supports business intelligence, decision-making, performance management, and reporting, at our client in the Energy sector.

Your responsibilities

As part of the Data Management team, you will:

• Design technical solutions based on functional specifications.
• Develop ETL workflows using SAS Data Integration Studio.
• Create ETL packages and data integration processes.
• Develop chaining scripts to move data from operational systems to the Data Warehouse.
• Perform unit, integration, and ETL testing.
• Ensure ETL processes meet technical specifications in close collaboration with BI analysts.
• Produce technical documentation in line with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Create and maintain operational procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a BI Developer or Data Engineer.
• Solid experience in the Business Intelligence / Analytics domain.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing (DWH) concepts and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SAS Data Integration Studio.
• Strong understanding of data modelling.
• Experience delivering BI/Data Engineering projects in at least two different business sectors, demonstrating adaptability to different business environments.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and in a structured manner.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with a passive knowledge of the other language.

• Experience in the Utilities sector.
• Experience with Python.
