Job summary

EngiFlex BV in Puurs, Belgium seeks an External Business Project Lead to drive end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, from initiation to go-live and handover to operations. You will ensure governance, alignment across teams, and disciplined execution in a regulated environment.

You bring at least 9 years’ experience in large IT/ERP projects, with strong PM skills, budget ownership, vendor management, and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 9 years of professional experience in IT, ERP, digital transformation or SAP projects in complex international environments
• Strong project-management expertise including scope, risk, issue, dependency and stakeholder management
• Experience with budget ownership, financial governance, procurement processes, and vendor contract follow-up
• Ability to lead cross-functional/matrix teams and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, governance frameworks, reporting standards and delivery best practices
• Clear communication at operational and executive level, including presentations and reporting for senior leadership
• Understanding of security, compliance, quality and regulatory requirements in enterprise tech delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation from initiation to go-live and operations transition
• Set up project governance; oversee scope, risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder expectations
• Steer delivery to meet time, budget, quality and business outcomes
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, SOWs and procurement
• Drive resource planning and utilization using established PM methods and tools
• Provide clear status reporting and executive communications with KPIs
• Collaborate with business, IT, cross-functional partners and external vendors
• Ensure compliance with security, quality, regulatory and governance requirements throughout the lifecycle
