Job summary

Samsonite International S.A. seeks an SAP Master Data professional to govern Material Master data and ensure data quality across procurement, sales and operations.

You will work with stakeholders across IT, legal and management to drive standards in an international environment. Responsibilities include data validation, cleansing, profiling, mapping and supporting data governance initiatives, audits, and SAP data migration projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Master Data management and data governance.
• Strong data quality and KPI monitoring skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across IT, legal and operations.
• Experience in data cleansing, profiling and data transformation.
• Ability to coordinate audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support onboarding, training and documentation creation.
• Troubleshoot data issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to SAP data migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of Material Master data while maintaining data quality standards and monitoring relevant KPIs.
• Perform data stewardship activities, including data validation, cleansing, profiling, testing, mapping and the application of data conversion and transformation rules.
• Support data governance initiatives by defining, maintaining and enforcing master data standards and procedures.
• Coordinate and support internal and external compliance audits, ensuring adherence to established governance and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with business, IT, legal and management teams to define data requirements and improve data processes.
• Support business users through onboarding activities, user guidance, training coordination and the creation and maintenance of manuals and documentation.
• Troubleshoot master data issues and provide timely solutions to ensure business continuity.
• Contribute to SAP-related projects, data migration initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Join our European distribution team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, consistency and governance of our SAP master data. In this role, you will act as a trusted expert for SAP Master data, supporting business-critical processes across procurement, sales and operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organisation and contribute to the successful implementation and governance of data standards in an international environment.
