USG Professionals Belgium is seeking a skilled SAP Functional Analyst to support an SAP EWM expansion across Europe from Ghent. You will bridge business and IT, provide Tier-2 SAP EWM/MM functional support, and help transition the programme into ongoing operations.

In this freelance/consultant role, you’ll coordinate testing, UAT, and documentation, coach colleagues, and ensure smooth incident resolution while working with diverse stakeholders across European warehouses.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SAP Functional Analyst or SAP Functional Consultant in a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Materials Management (MM).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to bridge business and IT. Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.

The Role

As an SAP Functional Analyst, you'll play a key role in transitioning SAP support from the implementation programme into the business. Acting as the bridge between operations, business stakeholders, and IT, you'll combine hands-on functional expertise with the opportunity to coordinate support activities, build internal knowledge, and contribute to the expansion of a European SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier-2 functional support for SAP EWM and related logistics applications, resolving functional issues and user questions.
• Investigate SAP and system integration issues, perform triage, and determine whether incidents should be resolved internally or escalated to specialised support teams.
• Coordinate functional support activities, prioritise workloads, and help ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployments, and business readiness during ongoing SAP enhancements.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation, user guides, and knowledge materials while coaching colleagues and strengthening SAP expertise within the business.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external support partners while contributing to the rollout of SAP capabilities across multiple European warehouse locations.

What You Need

• Proven experience as an SAP Functional Analyst or SAP Functional Consultant in a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Materials Management (MM).
• Experience analysing complex SAP issues, coordinating incident resolution, and working with integrated SAP environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and IT.
• Fluent English; Dutch is considered a strong advantage.
