Discover Recruitment is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant for a major transformation programme based in Brussels. The contract is 6 months with a potential extension, and a daily rate of 650–800€. You will work with Finance, IT and SAP teams to implement and optimise SAP FI/CO, including S/4HANA migrations and cross‑module integrations, in a multinational environment.

English is essential; Dutch or French are a plus. Flexible working is provided.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on SAP FI/CO experience including configuration.
• Experience in SAP implementations or transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Finance processes and Controlling.
• Experience with SAP FICO in S/4HANA Finance or ECC.
• Ability to gather requirements from Finance stakeholders.
• Professional English; Dutch or French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Configure and optimise SAP FI/CO across Financial Accounting and Controlling.
• Analyze Finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Gather requirements from Finance stakeholders and translate them into functional solutions.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration and enhancement activities.
• Work across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Asset Accounting.
• Support Controlling processes, including Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders and Profitability Analysis.
• Manage integration requirements between FI/CO and other SAP modules (MM, SD).
• Prepare functional specs and coordinate with technical teams and implementation partners.
• Support data migration, testing, UAT, cutover and go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and support business users.
• Contribute to process standardisation and continuous improvement.

Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant to support a major SAP Finance transformation programme with a large international organisation based in Brussels.
The organisation operates across several European markets and is continuing to modernise its SAP environment, with a focus on improving financial processes, standardising reporting and developing its S/4HANA landscape.
This is a business-facing position requiring someone who can combine strong SAP FI/CO configuration expertise with an understanding of financial operations and enterprise-wide transformation projects.

The role

You will work alongside Finance, IT and SAP teams to support the implementation, optimisation and ongoing development of the organisation's SAP Finance environment.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Configure and optimise SAP FI/CO solutions across Financial Accounting and Controlling.

Your experience

We Are Interested In Speaking With Consultants Who Have

• Strong hands-on SAP FI/CO experience, including configuration.
• Previous involvement in SAP implementations, migrations or transformation programmes.
• Good understanding of end-to-end Finance and Controlling processes.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA Finance and/or SAP ECC.
• Knowledge of FI integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with Finance stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with functional and technical teams.
• Professional English.
• French or Dutch language skills would be a benefit
