Job summary

delaware is seeking a Data & Analytics Lead to oversee SAP data & analytics projects from design to delivery. You will guide architecture decisions, mentor team members, and act as trusted advisor to customers while expanding your own technical and consulting impact.

You will lead workshops, align projects with stakeholders, and stay up-to-date with SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, Databricks, Snowflake, BW/4HANA and SAP Business Data Cloud.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a project lead, solution architect or data architect in data & analytics projects.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Databricks, SAP Snowflake, SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Business Data Cloud.
• Ability to guide workshops and align projects with customers and stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building with customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to work hybrid in Belgium with frequent customer contact; fluent in French and English; Dutch a plus.

What will you be doing?

You combine your experience and passion to deep dive into data with the hands-on and flexible attitude to lead SAP data & analytics projects from data capturing and information management, to data visualization and analytics insights. As Data & Analytics Lead, you take ownership of your projects from start to finish. Whether you do that by coaching a team and getting the absolute best out of them, or by being the expert who sets the direction and raises the technical bar, is up to you and your ambitions.

You have the commercial insight to put yourself in the shoes of the customer, understand their reality and translate the functional blueprint into a technical architecture or solution. As a mature and technically skilled architect and project lead, you act as a trusted advisor for customers, guiding them through complex data and analytics challenges while ensuring successful project delivery. You build strong relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the organization and remain actively involved throughout the project lifecycle, even after go-live.

You are ambitious and eager to take on a varied range of projects. You are keen on growing and diversifying your architectural skills by designing integrations with other solutions. You are committed to expanding your knowledge by staying up to date on the latest technologies in your field and mentoring less experienced colleagues. You love building business relationships, collaborating with Sales colleagues and helping our team grow further.

The SAP Data & AI team at delaware is the bridge between business processes and data analytics. Our playground is SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud.

Furthermore, we work closely together with our functional colleagues, who are specialized in SAP ERP. In that sense, we combine the best of both worlds. The most rewarding part of our job is seeing how our customers gain insights into information they never even knew existed, simply because they didn't know where to look.

• are passionate about data and have more than 5 years of experience as a project lead, solution architect or data architect in data & analytics projects;
• have affinity with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Databricks, SAP Snowflake, SAP BW/4HANA and/or SAP Business Data Cloud;
• are able to guide workshops, facilitate discussions and align projects with customers and stakeholders;
• have the maturity and confidence to independently manage customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout complex projects;
• enjoy extensive customer interaction and are able to build long-term relationships based on trust and expertise;
• either enjoy guiding and coaching a team of technical experts, or prefer to lead through content by setting the technical direction and being the sparring partner your colleagues rely on;
• feel at home in a senior role where you can keep growing, either towards team leadership or towards deep architectural expertise;
• have excellent listening, presentation and communication skills in French and English. Knowledge of Dutch is considered a strong asset;
• see the bigger picture and want to stay up to date on the latest trends in data and analytics;
