Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Expert to drive a strategic transformation in Brussels. You will advise on SAP S/4HANA functionalities, particularly GL, Universal Journal, Financial Closing and Asset Accounting, while assessing ECC-to-S/4HANA migrations and guiding stakeholders through the transition.

Ideal candidates bring strong FI/CO expertise, experience with Brownfield migrations, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Strong functional expertise in SAP FI/CO, including FI-GL and FI-AA.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield migrations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise internal Finance teams on SAP S/4HANA functionalities, particularly GL, Universal Journal, Closing and Asset Accounting.
• Analyse differences between ECC and S/4HANA and assess proposals from the external partner.
• Support business stakeholders through guidance, knowledge transfer and testing during migration.

Senior SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Expert - Strategic Transformation - Brussels

Are you an experienced SAP FI/CO professional looking to make an impact on a major transformation programme?

We are partnering with a leading organisation in the Belgian financial services sector undergoing a strategic SAP ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield migration.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a large-scale transformation, working closely with Finance stakeholders and providing expert guidance on SAP S/4HANA functionalities and best practices.

Rather than focusing on technical implementation, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping business teams understand their options, challenge proposed solutions and successfully navigate the transition.

Senior SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Expert - The Job

You will:

• Advise internal Finance teams on SAP S/4HANA functionalities, particularly General Ledger, Universal Journal, Financial Closing and Asset Accounting.
• Analyse differences between ECC and S/4HANA, recommend standard SAP solutions and assess proposals from the external implementation partner.
• Support business stakeholders through functional guidance, knowledge transfer and testing activities throughout the migration.

Senior SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Expert - Your Profile

You have:

• Strong functional expertise in SAP FI/CO, particularly FI-GL, FI-AA and financial closing processes.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, ideally including ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield migration projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex SAP concepts into clear business language.

Fluent English is required; Dutch is a strong advantage.
