• Ability to analyze process data and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in industrial environments.
• English fluency; Dutch knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience with CAD or process simulation tools is an advantage.

Role Description

In this full‑time, on‑site role based in Hasselt, the Sales or Technology Engineer supports customers in selecting and applying BlueFil® separation solutions for their specific industrial processes. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include analyzing customer requirements, preparing technical proposals, and providing guidance on product configuration and performance. The role involves close collaboration with production and engineering teams to ensure feasible, cost‑effective solutions, as well as participation in meetings, site visits, and technical presentations. The Sales or Technology Engineer maintains relationships with existing clients, identifies new business opportunities, and contributes to continuous improvement in product offerings and application know‑how. This position requires a hands‑on approach and regular interaction with industrial environments to understand customer challenges and demonstrate solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering, with the ability to understand separation technologies and industrial processes.
• Experience in sales engineering, technical support, or application engineering within sectors such as chemical, petrochemical, energy, water treatment, or related industries.
• Ability to analyze process data, interpret technical drawings and specifications, and translate customer requirements into tailored solutions.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Organizational and project coordination skills, including managing proposals, timelines, and multiple customer requests simultaneously.
• Comfort working on‑site in industrial environments, with a practical, solution‑oriented mindset and attention to safety and regulatory considerations.
• Proficiency with common office and engineering tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software; familiarity with CAD or process simulation tools is an advantage).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; previous experience in emission control, filtration, or separation systems is a plus.
• Professional fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or other European languages is beneficial.
• Motivation to contribute to more sustainable industrial processes and to work closely with international partners.
