Een internationaal laboratoriumbedrijf zoekt een Sales Manager voor Soils & Water Testing. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van de klantportefeuille en het aansturen van het sales team. Idealiter heb je een universitaire opleiding in een wetenschappelijk vakgebied en sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels. Dit is een rol waarin je zowel strategisch als operationeel betrokken bent.

Qualifications

  • Minimaal een universitaire opleiding in een relevant vakgebied.
  • Ervaring met klantrelaties en sales management.
  • Ouderlijke managementskills en vermogen om een team aan te sturen.

Responsabilités

  • Sturen op groei van de Belgische klantenportefeuille.
  • Ontwikkelen van lange termijnpartnerschappen met key accounts.
  • Implementeren van commerciële strategieën en monitoring van doelen.

Bedrijfsomschrijving

Eurofins is looking for a Sales Manager Soils & Water Testing. The Sales Manager will report to the Business Unit Manager Soils & Water Testing Belgium.

The Business Unit Soils & Water Testing services a portfolio of approximately 1,200 customers, situated in both the private and public sectors. The turnover of this business unit is approximately €30 million, realized with about 30 people. The soils & water sample testing is realized in three centralized and specialized labs: two located in the Netherlands (Barneveld and Amsterdam) and one in Belgium (Merelbeke).

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Drive the growth of the existing Belgian clients’ portfolio and be responsible for business development, developing business plans and strategies to attract new customers/new markets.
  • Responsible for the development of long-term partnerships with key accounts and the further expansion of the customer portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain a commercial plan that generates a relevant pipeline to secure significant organic growth.
  • Direct and monitor the 8 sales team members to realize the proposed targets. Outline the broad context for the team, determine priorities and act as a sounding board.
  • Take up an active commercial role with Key Accounts and in developing strategic deals; must be able to walk the talk.
  • Develop together with the team a professional sales plan for each client; defines pricing, sets sales volumes and mix, customer profitability targets per product and service.
  • Closely monitor market developments and respond efficiently to new opportunities.
  • Implement the defined commercial strategy and continue to build an efficient and customer-friendly commercial operation with an eye for quality and delivery reliability.
  • Overseeing the sales activities and ensuring that these objectives are achieved, in line with the strategic business plan.
  • Guaranteeing smooth cooperation between the various departments: sales support, production (laboratories), logistics, and striving for more equality and consistency in operation.
  • Implementing a continuous improvement culture and propagating it.
  • Ensuring the smooth roll-out of the new CRM tool and training of the sales team.
Functie-eisen
  • Languages: Dutch, French, English
  • Education: University-level degree, preferably in a scientific field
