Job summary

Lutosa, a Belgian success story, seeks an experienced S&OP and Demand Manager to lead demand planning and the Sales & Operations Planning process. You will report to the Supply Chain Director and liaise with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production and Planning teams to maximise profitability while maintaining service levels.

The role emphasizes 24-month forecasting, KPI oversight (Forecast Accuracy, Service Level, Capacity), and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in S&OP with emphasis on Demand Management.
• Excellent Excel skills and data visualization.
• Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP IBP is a strong asset.
• Analytical, results-oriented with ability to handle large data sets.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central reference point for the S&OP process and ensure deployment across monthly cycles.
• Lead Demand Review and IOR stages; support Supply Review with Product Management and Planning teams.
• Develop and monitor 24-month demand forecasts across customer-product-location dimensions.
• Drive continuous improvement of the S&OP process and monetisation aspects.
• Contribute to the development of an S&OE approach and organisation-wide KPIs.
• Organise monthly forecast reviews; analyse variances and provide action follow-up.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production, Planning, Supply Chain and Customer Service to align demand and capacity.
• Challenge departments to ensure realistic forecasts and fact-based decisions.
• Identify risks, propose scenarios, and escalate appropriately.
