Airbus DS Belgium NV is seeking an experienced A400M MRO Network Maintenance Manager to lead the ADS Belgium MRO team and coordinate with external providers. The role is based in Brussels on the Belgium Air Force Military Base and requires full-time presence on site.

You will drive on-time, on-cost, on-quality targets, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure adherence to contractual requirements while promoting Airbus values and continuous improvement within the MRO network.

Qualifications

• Aerospace engineer expertise.
• Experience on Aircraft Maintenance activities (5 years) and on A400M is valuable.
• Proven project management experience.
• Proven team management experience.
• Advanced English.
• Advanced French.
• EASA / EMAR part 66 license C category would be valuable.

Responsabilités

• Lead ADS Belgium MRO team (7 FTE) and external MRO providers (>30 FTE) in Belgium (BAF MoB, Diegem).
• Ensure On-Time, On-Cost, On-Quality targets for BAF MRO events and services (Flight Line, S/Check, C/Checks).
• Ensure adherence to contractual requirements and manage customer expectations, including unplanned MoB requests.
• Uphold HR and Ethics & Compliance standards; manage local recruitment and attrition.
• Support financial processes and operating plan; ensure adherence to yearly budget (external providers included).
• Coordinate with CAMO support, technicians, engineering, materials, logistics, planning, facilities, HSE, etc. across ADS, customers, and providers.
• Propose mitigations for escalations and promote collaboration with MRO providers and continuous improvement.

Job Description

A vacancy for an A400M MRO Network Maintenance Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Belgium. As the successful candidate you will join the MRO Network department.

This position is based in Brussels, on the Belgium Air Force Military Base, and as such you must be available to work full time in this place.

Task & accountabilities

• Leader of ADS Belgium MRO team (7 FTE) and external MRO providers (>30 FTE), located in Belgium at BAF MoB (Diegem),
• Responsible for On-Time, On-Cost, On-Quality targets fulfillment of BAF MRO events and services under his responsibility (Flight Line, S/Check and C/Checks),
• Ensure adherence of MRO team to Contractual requirements and manage customers’ expectations (in particular unplanned requests for services at MoB),
• Ensure adherence to HR and Ethic & Compliance standards, manage local recruitment and anticipate attrition,
• Support financial processes and OP, ensure adherence to yearly budget (external providers included) and mitigate budget deviations with ADS Central,
• Ensure coordination of all necessary functions & means with his team, in order to prepare and execute efficiently MRO activities (CAMO support, Technicians, Engineering support, Material & Logistics, Planning, Facilities, HSE, etc.). Interacts with various stakeholders knowing that these functions are shared between ADS, Customer & External providers,
• Propose mitigations (using global ADS organization) for escalations and critical topics not solved by subordinates,
• Ensure proper collaboration principles with MRO provider and maturity increase of MRO activities along the project (via lessons learnt workshops, continuous improvement roadmap and best practices exchanges with other MROs),
• Promote Safety as a Company core value, and ensure that all his personnel complies with all the Health and Safety Regulation,
• Support Program with setup of consortium between ADS and MRO provider,
• Prepare the future: promote Airbus values and expertise in MRO to capture new business opportunities,
• Ensure that the ADS personnel comply with MRO procedures (wrt applicable MoM) and applicable regulations,
